How much electricity does the pool enclosure generate?
Output depends on size, orientation and model variant. Depending on the configuration, PV outputs of up to 8.4 kWp are possible. With the PV-free variant, the focus is on the transparent real-glass look without power generation.
What makes laminated safety glass special?
SKYVOLUTION ONE uses genuine safety glass rather than simple plastic solutions. Laminated safety glass consists of several layers of glass bonded together by an interlayer film. This keeps the glass largely held together in the event of breakage and creates a particularly high-quality, durable and elegant look. In the horizontal glazing SKYVOLUTION uses 8 mm laminated safety glass, a deliberate choice for quality, stability and a premium glass character.
When the sun is out, I use the pool – doesn't that cost me solar output?
Partly, yes – but far less than you might expect. The time a pool enclosure is actually open accounts for only a very small share of the total sunshine hours over a year. Optionally, the largest roof element can continue to produce solar power even when the enclosure is open.
For pool owners who keep their enclosure open almost constantly during the swimming season, the PV-small variant is also available. Here the photovoltaics are located exclusively in the largest roof element, which generates solar power both in the open and closed position.
How do I clean the glass surfaces?
The glass surfaces can be cleaned like high-quality glass roofs or conservatories. For a particularly gentle, streak-free result, a professional pure-water cleaning service can be booked through SKYVOLUTION.
Is the structure rated for snow and wind loads?
Yes. Every system is marked in accordance with ONR 191160 (2010) – manufacturing class I and, depending on the model, meets defined snow and wind load classes.
