I am Roland Altenberger – founder of SKYVOLUTION and passionate developer of sustainable living spaces.
The idea behind SKYVOLUTION arose from a very personal need: to protect my pool while unlocking its full potential.
What I found were two extremes:
Inexpensive products that disappoint in quality – and high-quality models that are visually convincing but offer no additional benefits.
Both options left the potential of sealed surfaces untapped. So frustration became a vision: to transform existing surfaces into energy sources – without compromising on quality, design, or sustainability.
As an engineer specializing in environmental and process engineering, mechanical engineering, and mechatronics, I was able to draw on a broad foundation of expertise.
With SKYVOLUTION, I combine protection, aesthetics, and energy generation in a system that integrates harmoniously into the architecture while contributing to the energy transition.
I am convinced that design and sustainability are not contradictory and show how a personal need can become a solution for many.
